FCC in the Intercompany Games
FCC participated in the Intercompany Games in Madrid last weekend; the Games were previously held in Barcelona and Valencia. A total of 78 employees (39 padel tennis doubles teams) participated this time; 122 employees in total have participated in the three editions of the Games.
In each edition, participating companies vote for shortlisted candidates, and the funds raised are distributed among the winning projects.
Madrid
The Madrid Games generated more interest and participation by FCC employees than did previous editions, and the results were excellent in both individual and collective terms. As well as winning the tournament, FCC was awarded the Trophy for Sporting Spirit as the company with the largest number of entrants.
Six of FCC's 39 doubles teams ended in the top ten:
• 1st: Javier Alaminos Sánchez – Javier Yebra Méndez
• 2nd: Ernesto de la Plata de la Torre – Alejandro Jiménez Galindo
• 4th: Luis Ignacio Matallana Sanfilippo – Alfonso Díaz García
• 7th: Alberto García-Rojo Crespo – Miguel Ángel García Triviño
• 9th: Luis Reina Pérez-Lescure – Sergio Manso Pozo
• 10th: Óscar Rodríguez Santos – Amparo Pérez Graullera
Barcelona
FCC fielded 13 doubles teams in Barcelona, and two ended in the top ten:
• 8th: Jordi Gibert Cortés – Jaime Gutiérrez Sole
• 10th: Alejandro Viera Reoyo – Enrique Heras Usariaga
Valencia
Only 9 doubles teams participated in Valencia, but the results were excellent:
• 1st: Daniel Cano Alcaraz – Sergio Ivars Vallés
• 2nd: Antonio Ortín Aldeguer – Vicente Crespo Escrich
• 4th: Vicente Corts Ferrer – Marcos Iglesias Roger
• 5th: Javier Ruiperez Alonso – José Romero Sánchez
