FCC Industrial e Infraestructuras Energéticas receives Equality accolade
The Ministry of Health, Social Policy and Equality has awarded FCC Industrial e Infraestructuras Energéticas, S.A.U. with the accolade of Equality in the workplace.
This mark of excellence acts as an incentive and gives recognition to companies committed to equality who have implemented policies with this aim in all areas of the company.
In order to be awarded the accolade, the following were assessed: implementation criteria and results of the measures listed in the quality plans; any periodic assessment criteria and procedures for these plans; the application of positive action measures which actively encourage equal opportunities between men and women; the FCC Group harassment prevention policy, the dissemination of gender-specific violence campaigns and women who have been victims of the aforementioned starting to work, as well as training actions to gain access to employment on the one hand, and others focused on promoting women in positions of responsibility on the other.
FCC Industrial e Infraestructuras Energéticas signed its first Equality Plan with the trade unions CCOO and UGT at the end of 2012, which will be in force until 31 December 2016. Obtaining this accolade serves to strengthen the road embarked upon by FCC Industrial e Infraestructuras Energéticas in line with FCC policies which promote workers' professional development and performance under the guarantee of equal opportunities.
