FCC Environment attends the "Leaders Meeting" with the mayor of Las Palmas

FCC Medio Ambiente (the Spanish brand for FCC Environment) has attended the leaders meeting at the Poema del Mar aquarium in Las Palmas, with the mayor of the capital of Gran Canaria, Augusto Hidalgo, whose address focused on "Cities. The new frontier."

This meeting was attended on behalf of the company by Jordi Payet, Chief Executive Officer of FCC Medio Ambiente, who shared a table with the mayor of Las Palmas, and Miguel Ángel Castanedo, head of the FCC Environment Canary Islands delegation which was amply represented at the event.

During his speech, Augusto Hidalgo made a successful assessment of two and a half years of government, and highlighted the 200 work projects that the town hall is working on, which, as they point out, represent the largest investment in the history of the city. During his speech, he wanted to highlight the MetroGuagua project, which in his opinion "is going to transform the city". He also stressed that the current municipal government has managed to increase investment and social spending and at the same time reduce debt to zero.

Augusto Hidalgo’s talk brought together a large number of attendees, including prominent political and social representatives, and enjoyed considerable media coverage.
