FCC Environment participates in the “Re-thinking cities” seminar

FCC Medio Ambiente (the Spanish brand for FCC Environment) has participated in the 15th seminar held by Madridiario in the auditorium of the Musical High Performance Centre - CARM – in the Alfonso X El Sabio University (UAX). The event focussed on the environment and sustainable development for ‘Re-thinking cities.’

Representing FCC in this meeting on more sustainable cities was Jordi Payet, Chief Executive Officer of FCC Medio Ambiente. He took part in the discussion table on “Urban collection: innovation and environmental effectiveness,” where the matter of the accessibility of bins, as one of the problems of greatest concern for those involved in waste collection, was discussed. At the end, Jordi Payet presented a trophy in the form of a glass bin to a school for a student’s brilliant question.

First level representatives were part of this meeting to provide knowledge, innovation and technology for contributing to more habitable cities.
