During the last three months we have carried out the planned renovation works which were required to renew the version of over twelve SAP systems of FCC Group, among which are the proper SAP Integra, Portal the invoice approval Portal and other dependent SAP systems.

The update of the system and its infrastructure enables FCC:

• To provide a SAP environment supported by the most current version available, improving both the functional aspects as well as security and technical management. These improvements will be directly perceived in the short-term.
• In the medium term, the possibility of introducing new solutions into production will be more agile and flexible, especially for international communications and banking environments (latest SAP functionalities already available in our system).
• To have the ability to adopt the latest technologies in the Information Technologies area, including the ability to access a large amount of data in real time. The latter is known as "in-memory" computing and is observed in an increase in the speed and performance of the environment.

For the deployment of all these activities the SAP-Integra team project developed an Action Plan in order to address the technical migration tasks, seeking to minimize the impact on users.

Finally we thank the users and areas involved for their support and cooperation to make this initiative fully satisfactory for FCC.
