Informative and control initiatives implemented by the Influenza A Pandemic are considered finished at FCC.

The consequences of the pandemic on people’s health have not been as drastic as forecasts had outlined. Although it is highly contagious, the influenza does not have serious health effects (except for risk groups). At FCC, there was no increase in absenteeism and no risk situation was created for its services.

The organisation’s response to this pandemic situation was in line with the initiatives established by official bodies and the government and based on the effects on workers’ health and on company productivity.

Starting at this time, the entire organisation must be notified so that the information generated during the campaign is removed, such as posters and informative texts.

With respect to other measures adopted, such as the use of hydro-alcoholic gels, the possibility of using them remains open until the existing stocks are used up.

The registration and information on possible cases of contagion is now finished as well.

It can be concluded that the tasks done during this campaign have represented an excellent source of information for FCC for any possible future risk situation with similar characteristics.
