José Mayor participates in Friday lecture series

José Mayor Oreja, chairman of FCC Construction, participated in the 3rd edition of the Friday lecture series at Nuestra Casa retirement home in Collado Villalba (Madrid), organised jointly by FCC and the Esther Koplowitz Foundation.

José Mayor participates in Friday lecture series

Mr Mayor, a civil engineer, gave an interesting lecture which looked back at FCC's major projects in Spain over the last 20 years.

He told the residents about FCC's many works, from roads, high-speed railways, bridges, buildings, and football stadiums through to the Esther Koplowitz Foundation's retirement homes in Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia and the Esther Koplowitz Centre for Biomedical Research in Barcelona.

His talk was well received by the residents, and when he finished he was presented with the customary FCC Volunteer speaker gift, a painting by Down's Syndrome children in Madrid.
