Mila del Castillo lectures at Nuestra Casa Retirement Home

Mila del Castillo, an FCC employee with a degree in history and experience as a designer, gave a touching lecture about the importance of drawing on pleasant memories. Her presentation was part of the third edition of the Friday lecture series at Nuestra Casa Retirement Home, organised by FCC volunteers and the Esther Koplowitz Foundation.

Mila del Castillo lectures at Nuestra Casa Retirement Home

Mila's lecture, entitled "Storing memories", highlighted the importance of eliciting memories to keep the mind active at any age.

During her talk, she showed old photos of Spain, which evoked memories and emotions among the residents.

FCC volunteers presented Mila with the customary speaker gift, a painting by Down's Syndrome children in Madrid.
