Another edition of the International Eco-efficiency Awards

FCC has announced the third annual "Eco-efficiency Awards", the goal of which is to reward ideas and projects from FCC employees that promote sustainable development, optimisation of natural resources and the use of new technologies for the benefit of the environment.

This edition includes a new concept which goes hand-in-hand with the awards and summarizes the objective of this FCC initiative. "Ideas that change the world" seeks to encourage all employees to participate and to be aware that their ideas and initiatives can make the world a better place.

Another edition of the International Eco-efficiency Awards

The contest is open to all FCC employees that wish to participate, either as a group or on an individual basis. The contest is organised in two categories:

Eco-efficiency-related idea/project that improves the lives of citizens.
Eco-efficiency-related idea/project that improves the company's results.

One prize will be awarded in each category. The prize will consist of a 5-day all-paid trip for two to Mexico; winners have the option of exchanging the trip for a cash prize. The jury will also award two honourable mentions.

FCC employees interested in participating in the Eco-efficiency Awards may obtain the application form at their work centres or download it on the intranet.

We aim to promote eco-efficiency among employees and to achieve, as in the previous editions, a high level of participation so as to make eco-efficiency a distinctive feature of the company and part of the day-to-day of FCC employees.

We encourage you contribute and to distribute this information to all areas of the organisation with a view to stimulating participation by all FCC Group people.
