New email FCC service.

Framed within the technological transformation of FCC, the project for the migracion of existing email service has been released, envolving into a new modern and common platform that responds completely to the general needs of the Group.

This project has a scope of 11,000 users mailboxes in Spain and nearly 2,000 users internationally, which will be migrated to the new service over the coming months.

The advantages and benefits that mail users will percieve directly are:

- Greater Service Stability than offered by current mail platform.

- Increasing Mailbox Capacity, as users will have 4GB of availabe storage.

- Application Access to webmail "OWA (Outlook Web Access)" substantially improved both in image usability. This Web Email Service will allow you to use the mailbox through the internet.

- Common address book for the whole FCC Group, facilitating mail interchange.

Once the Mailbox has been migrated, the user will be able to access and find all messages, contacts and calendar entries that were stored previously, but with the benefits mentioned above.

To ease transition, Information Systems and Tecnhology has prepared a Communication Plan that will guide the user though the Migration Process to the new services.
