Floral offering to the Virgen del Pilar in Zaragoza - do you want to take part?

To celebrate the day of the Virgen del Pilar in Zaragoza on 12 October, FCC Medio Ambiente’s Aragón-Rioja branch invites us to take part in the name of FCC in the floral offering to the Virgin, carried out every year in the capital of Aragon in accordance with tradition.

Floral offering to the Virgen del Pilar in Zaragoza - do you want to take part?

This is the most important and popular part of the Pilar festivities. From early morning, persons leave home with their offerings and make their way to the Plaza del Pilar to make a large blanket in honour of the Virgin.

To participate, just send an e-mail to dtejedorh@fcc.es before 9 October, giving the city in which you work, your name, surnames and cell phone number.

Due to Zaragoza City Council regulations, groups may not exceed 150 participants so we will carry out a draw so that the participation will be proportional to all the origins from which participation requests are received. Thus, everyone will be represented. After the draw, we will communicate the latest details to the winners only so they can take part in FCC group.

A requirement for participating is that all participants must wear their traditional costumes.
