United against gender violence
FCC has joined the Campaign against Gender Violence organised by Spain's Ministry of Health, Social Policy and Equality and the awareness-raising campaign organised by NGO Save the Children to highlight the plight of the children of women who are victims of domestic violence.
The campaigns are being transmitted to all people in FCC with the goal of promoting the commitment made by the Group under the agreement signed with the Spanish Ministry for Health, Social Policy and Equality on 22 November 2010 to provide job placements for women who suffer domestic violence.
With this action, we are seeking to raise awareness of the situation suffered by children of women who are victims of violence in their everyday lives by disseminating the message of the Ministry for Health, Social Policy and Equality and Save the Children.
This initiative requires all of us to make an effort and express our solidarity individually; also, on a collective basis, it will enable us to enhance our policy of corporate ethics and responsibility and contribute to well-being in our society.
