FCC, which provides vehicle inspection services in 78 centres in Spain and Argentina, performed 2.5 million inspections in 2008, 9% more than the previous year.

Six new centres were inaugurated in 2008: four in Spain and two in Argentina.

The most recent centre to open is located in Zaragoza; it is managed by subsidiary Aragonesa de Servicios ITV and occupies a 489-square-metre building. The centre is equipped with the required machinery for periodic inspection of two-wheel vehicles (mopeds and motorcycles), quads, special vehicles weighing less than 3.5 tonnes (e.g. street cleaning vehicles) and taximeters. Among other parameters, the machinery can measure a moped's speed, noise and pollutant emissions and braking capacity.

Aragonesa de Servicios ITV also manages the following centres in the Aragón region: Utebo, Calatayud, Quinto and Cariñena in the Zaragoza province, and Alcañiz, Andorra, Calamocha, Calaceite and Montalbán in the Teruel province. It also has two mobile units for agricultural vehicle inspection.
