FCC employees to draft Good Citizenship Manual
As FCC is a Citizen Services company operating in over 50 countries, where we endeavour to improve people's living standards, we want to develop a manual of good citizen conducts and practices. Employees are invited to propose, update and discuss its content. The manual seeks to revive and promote attitudes and behaviours which facilitate harmonious coexistence.
To this end, we have created a wiki page on the corporate internet where you can participate: http://fccnet/sites/crc/mcc/default.aspx.
To start with, we propose an outline of behaviours in certain places which should serve as a basis for cooperative development of the FCC Good Citizenship Manual from a social standpoint (i.e. for interacting with people from different walks of life) and an environmental one (i.e. in connection with nature and resource use).
The goal is for the manual to become a handbook for good citizenship and to help us change many of our attitudes. We are sure that your ideas and contributions will help create a valuable document on citizenship which will help: build a better city; make us more comfortable in the workplace; encourage us to be friendlier, more polite and more respectful to the people around us; and, in short, build a healthier and more sustainable society and environment.
