Vicente Cerezuela, Head of Fleet Management at FCC, performed a selection of songs as part of the Friday lecture series organised by FCC Volunteers and the Esther Koplowitz Foundation at the Nuestra Casa retirement home in Collado Villalba (Madrid).
Cerezuela delighted the residents and other attendees with a varied selection of songs, ranging from tangos to Spanish and French music, which he played on his guitar, a very special gift he received from his colleagues at the Liceo Francés school in Madrid.
Cerezuela's performance livened up the birthday party held for residents born in February. Group birthday parties are held on the last Friday of each month, when residents are presented with a certificate and a gift and serenaded with Happy Birthday.
Attendees were wowed by Cerezuela's extraordinary voice and stage presence.
Following his recital, he was congratulated by the residents, to whom he handed out CDs featuring a song performed by his daughter, actress Carolina Cerezuela, for the Tierra de Hombres Foundation. Cerezuela also received a work of art from Arte Down, presented to him Javier López-Galiacho, Head of Corporate Responsibility at FCC.
