FCC Construcción has won the Considerate Constructors Scheme National Ultra Site Award 2024 for the project to widen the A-465 dual carriageway in Wales (UK). The project was considered an Ultra Site under the Considerate Constructors Scheme.  The project and company was honoured at the Considerate Constructors, a ceremony for the project and company's contribution to the construction industry as well as its Ultra Site status.

Jeff Mapps, Senior Public Liaison Officer, who managed the project's participation in the scheme, collected the award on behalf of the team working on Wales' largest infrastructure project. Jeff explained:

‘It was a real pleasure to be able to receive this award on behalf of the project team, who are achieving exceptional results. I think it is a valuable industry recognition of everyone's professionalism, especially when you consider that the project is almost 18 kilometres long. This gives a real sense of how important it is for us to win this award’.
