FCC Construcción as a member of the "Sustainable Finance" group of the UN Global Compact, has participated in the 20th anniversary of the UN Global Leader Summit.

FCC Construcción, through Maria Carrasco, Director of Administration and Finance participated in the discussion table, "Sustainable Finance: shifting from crisis management to long-term recovery". In it, it was analyzed how the health crisis will modify companies' investments in a commitment to the SDGs; how companies will redefine the concept of corporate resilience as well as analyze new CFO strategies to continue aligning investments in relation to the SDGs.

Currently, there are about 14 trillion dollars in annual investments related to the fulfillment of the SDGs. For all these reasons, it is necessary to create a link between investors and companies that carry out the necessary activities to contribute to the fulfillment of the SDGs.

The Leaders Summit brought together more than 2,000 corporate sustainability leaders who discussed and debated: the values of the United Nations, the future of multilateralism and the role that companies can play in driving the progress of the SDGs.

For the past 20 years, the United Nations Global Compact has been building a global movement of sustainable companies and stakeholders.

FCC Construcción is the first construction company in the world to join the sustainable finance group of the UN Global Compact.
