FCC Construccion present in the signing of Declaration of Davos of the Superior Council of Architects of Spain
The construction area of the FCC Group was present at the signing of the "Declaration of Davos" by the Superior Council of Architects of Spain.
The act of ratification took place on June 8, at the headquarters of the Official College of Architects in Madrid, and brought together various public and private, international, national and local authorities, such as the president of CSAE; the ambassador of Switzerland in Spain; the Minister of Culture and Sports; the representative of the Swiss Minister of Culture; the representative of the Ministry of Development; the president of the Council of Architects of Switzerland; representatives of the Community of Madrid and the City Council of the capital; the director of the ICO Foundation; the director of the Reina Sofía Museum; and the director of the Círculo de Bellas Artes, among others.
FCC Construcción, as well as other companies in the sector, were present at the signing of the "Declaration of DAVOS" by the CSAE. In 2007, during the "Second International Conference on Climate Change and Tourism", the "Declaration of Davos" was signed, which reached a conclusion that eight years later remains in force: about 5% of CO emisiones emissions in Everyone is generated by the tourism sector.
At that time, the conference indicated that it was necessary to promote and invest in energy-saving tourism programs and in the use of renewable energy resources, in order to reduce the carbon footprint. This conference brought together 450 participants from more than 80 countries and 22 international organizations, organizations and private sector companies, research centers, media and NGOs, in order to respond in a timely and balanced to the imperatives of climate change in the tourism sector.
