The functions of this department are:

• Identification, analysis and selection of ideas and proposals for International R&D actions.
• Preparation and processing of aid for the financing of International R&D projects.
• Development and monitoring of International R&D Projects developed by other organizations of the company.
• Justification and dissemination of International R&D Projects and their results.
• Management of PATENTS and other mechanisms of protection of the Industrial and Intellectual Property of the results of the Projects and those innovative processes that arise from the actions in works.
• Technological surveillance: search, treatment and validation of information on the corresponding subject.
• Represent FCCCO in International Sector Organizations in R + D + i.
• Preparation of documentation and maintenance of the R&D space on the Intranet.
