Potencia magazine, belonging to the School of Engineers of Roads, Channels and Ports, has published a special edition with the most important international infrastructures implemented by the main Spanish constructors.

FCC Construction contributes to Potencia magazine´s issue on great international infrastructures.

FCC Construcción has played a prominent role in the magazine with the construction of the most important urban rail infrastructure in Central America, Panama´s Line 2 Metro. This contract consists of the services of engineering design, construction of civil works, the line´s auxiliary facilities, the supply and installation of an integral rail system which includes the line´s rolling stock and start up.

The work will have 16 stations and 21 kilometres of elevated track. It will connect stations from the district of San Miguelito to the La 24 de Diciembre area.

It comprises three different typologies of stations: central basins, porch and special stations. The initial design is for a flow of 16,000 passengers per hour / direction. This project will benefit approximately half a million people in the eastern area of Panama.
