The purpose of the Purchasing Department is to provide a procurement service that meets the internal client satisfaction and contributes to increase the negotiation capacity of FCC, aligned with the principles of the Strategic Plan and the general policies of the FCC Group.
  
The Purchasing Department will work together with the Business Units to:

  • Identify and drive the value creation levers of the Group, contributing to increase the businesses profitability. 
  • Collaborate to the establishment of policies and procedures that facilitate the integrated management of the group, create synergies and build a corporate culture based on the historical values of FCC: work, responsibility and initiative.
     

Principles for the management of purchases done by the Purchasing Department:

  • Separation of functions between all the parties involved in the purchasing process. 
  • Transparency throughout the process and in decision-making. 
  • Traceability of every one of the actions taken. 
  • Rigor in compliance with the internal policies of the FCC Group and with the current legislation. 
  • Rigor and confidentiality in the processing of information. 
  • Concurrence of suppliers for creating competency. 
  • Objectivity and unanimous agreement between all the parties involved in the decision. 
  • Compliance with the awarding conditions. 
  • Internal and external customer orientation
