Presentation

The highly specialised and diverse nature of FCC Group stipulates the need for a General Affairs Department as a strategic resource that complies with an integrated model of active participation in planning and management that:
  • Actively collaborates in attaining results
  • Improves the use of resources and enhances their efficiency
  • Boosts the Group's competitiveness

The Department's action guidelines include efforts to bolster corporate management; coordinate and rationalise when procuring supplies and contracting services that help boost efficiency; communicate with all business areas and harness existing synergies, focusing on cutting the corresponding costs, and on providing a dynamic and optimised service and model for action throughout the entire Group. Securing this synergy and improving communication calls for the communication of synchronised messages that avoid the dispersion of resources and uncertainty whilst carrying out actions.

The key responsibility is to align internal activities to ensure employees work as a collaborative unit, as well as to establish codes of conduct that result in a set of values and rules overseeing action that help evade conflicts, encourage integration and enhance the effectiveness of decisions.
